1. Juxtapose two different types of people who take part in the 4-20 "celebration." One will be a regular marijuana smoker, one will be a first-timer or someone who does it only occasionally. See what their lives are like, what they do for the day, how they are different ... Also maybe try to find statistics or do some sort of investigation into how many people are just recreational/occasional users versus regular users.
2. Talk to a person-or people-who have attended multiple 4/20′s for years, and why they keep coming back. For this I’m thinking about people who either travel to be here from out of town, or older persons who have been here since the beginning.
3. Something that might be fun, go around and find the most creative means of smoking, and take a picture of them (like a Darth Vader Bong vs. a shoe)
4. Get sort of a “4/20 Soundtrack” thing going.
5. I think it would be interesting to see what classes are like during 4/20. How little people are in them, if people are high in them, if people just leave, etc.
